Blended Learning Attendance Setup and Group Management - Video Series

This article includes a series of videos that introduce districts needing to accommodate virtual learning scenarios to the tools they can use to manage the recording and tracking of Virtual Attendance, creation and adjustment of Blended Learning Groups, and the assignment and reassignment of students to those groups.

Virtual Attendance Preferences

The first video explains how to set up an attendance code for a school to use with Virtual Attendance, how to configure preferences for how Virtual Attendance is captured and posted for that school, and how to copy that code and preferences to other schools in the district. Several different tools are included.

Blended Learning Groups

Blended Learning Groups allow school districts to manage which students are learning onsite and which are learning virtually. Tools in Campus let staff see whether a student assigned to a group is learning virtually on a given day. Entire groups can quickly be moved between virtual and onsite learning when the need arises.

In this video, you'll learn how to create both Manual and Automatic Blended Learning Groups, and assign students to them.

Adjust Blended Learning Groups

Occasionally, a district may wish to change group assignments for certain students or change the day assignments for one or more groups. This video explains how to use Adjust Blended Learning Groups to accomplish these tasks.

Manage Blended Learning Groups

This video shows how to use the Manage Blended Learning Groups tool to backdate group start dates and redistribute students in selected groups.

Blended Learning Group Assignments (Individual Student)

Districts can use the Student Information > General > Blended Learning Group Assignments tools to view and manage Blended Learning group memberships for individual students.
