New Migrant Workflow Tools were released with Campus.2611.
Things to know:
- Customers that use the legacy Migrant tool will be able to continue to use that tool to add, edit, and report Migrant data.
- The legacy Migrant tool will only be updated for existing customers if necessary from a business case standpoint.
- Existing customers that want more functionality or improved reporting will need to move to using the new workflow.
- Customers/states that move from Migrant to the Migrant Workflow Tools will have their own unique conversion needs.
The following tools are part of the new Migrant Workflow:
- Captures information for students whose parents/guardians move frequently in an effort to find work or better living conditions
- Entered when a student has received or is pending approval of their Certificate of Eligibility
- Entered prior to entering Migrant Enrollment information
- Federal/State Program Updater Tool can be used with this program
- Used to record and report information about individual students' enrollment in a Migrant Program
- Not the same as a student's regular Enrollment data
- Entered after Migrant Eligibility records have been entered for a student.
Program Services (Migrant Services)
The Program Services tool provides a way to enter and display records of program-related services a student has received. For example, records may be entered for students receiving Homeless, Migrant or Health services.
