The Extended Learning Opportunities tool allows users to record students' participation in NH Career Academy and Supplemental Paid Enrollment programs.
Use this tool to enter or update Extended Learning Opportunities participation details for a student.
Add or modify a record
Use the Federal/State Program Update Wizard to import existing Extended Learning Opportunities records for students or to update records for multiple students.
- Select the New icon. The Extended Learning Opportunities program information editor displays.
Create a student's Extended Learning Opportunities record.2. Enter the Start Date (required) of the record.
3. Select the applicable Involvement Type.
3. Select the applicable Program Type (required).
4. Enter any Comments related to the record.
5. If applicable, add District Defined Elements.
6. Click the Save icon when finished.
7. Click Print to display a PDF view of the student's Extended Learning Opportunities records.
8. Modify an existing record by clicking View in the appropriate record row and making the necessary adjustments. Click Save when finished.
9. End a record by clicking View in the appropriate record row, adding an End Date and an Exit Reason. Click Save when finished.

District-defined elements
District-specific data elements are established under Extended Learning Opportunity in the Custom Attribute/Dictionary tool.
- Fields are not displayed in the Extended Learning Opportunities List View. The record must be selected in order to see this detail.
- The header for this section will not be displayed until district-defined elements are added.
