Staff Processing Deprecation December 2025

As announced in Spring 2025, the tool used to process household applications has been updated to a new tool called Application Processing, which was released in OLR Version 6.4.

The Staff Processing screen will be removed in the OLR release in conjunction with Campus.2551, scheduled for release  December 15, 2025.

What will change in Campus?

  1. The "Enable New Application Processing" setting will be enabled in districts where it is not currently enabled and hidden from OLR System Settings.
  2. The Staff Processing tool will be replaced by the Application Processing tool.

What do I need to do?

System administrators should enable the Application Processing UI before December 15.

  1. Navigate to the System Settings.
  2. Under Online Registration Setup, access OLR System Settings.
  3. Check Enable New Application Processing.
  4. Click Save.

Application Processing provides several benefits to the existing Staff Processing:

  • Expanded Data Matching – More data points for better census matches.
  • Streamlined Workflow – Easily track which records have been reviewed.
  • Duplicate Records – Allows reviewers to ignore duplicate parent/guardian entries.
  • Enhanced Record Review – Reduces data duplication by requiring approval of new records.
  • Customizable Review Screen – Displays key data relevant to internal processes by marking fields as "Show in Application Processing" in the OLR Builder, which is displayed on Application Processing.
  • Improved ADA Compliance – Ensuring accessibility for all users.
