Report Logic
Reported Students
- All enrolled students, regardless of FTE, are included in the extract.
- Any student who meets the definition in the current month's count, even if the student met the definition and was reported in a previous month's count, is included.
State Exclude
- Students marked as State Exclude on their enrollment records are not included in the report.
- Students enrolled in Grade Levels marked as State Exclude are not included in the report.
- Calendars marked as State Exclude are not included in the report.
Calculations
The days absent for a K-12 student are reported within the selected calendar month report, except:
- For the August/September collection, days absent are calculated from the first day of enrollment in the school year through September 30th.
- For the May/June collection, days absent are calculated from May 1 through the last day of school.
Special consideration is not given to behavior events labeled Expulsion with Services or Suspension with Services. Standard attendance record logic during that time period is used.
