The Staff Program Association reports staff members associated with an approved CTE program.

Object Triggering

Action	Trigger
Post	When a staff member is added to a course section on the Staff History tool. Does not report when the staff member does not have an Ed-Fi ID. Does not report when the course is in a school marked as exclude.
Put	When Start of End Dates are modified on the Staff History tool.
Delete/Post	When part of the record's Natural Key changes. When the staff member has two of the same flags with the same start date and one record is deleted, the remaining records post.
Delete	When a flag is deleted or when the record no longer overlaps the configured year. When a staff member is deleted from Staff History.

Resource Toggle/Resync

Action	Business Rule
None	When a resource is toggled off after data sent, all sent data remains in the ODS but no new data sends.
Resync	When a record in the Ed-Fi Identity Mapping table and not in the ODS, it is deleted from the Ed-Fi Mapping table. When a record is in the ODS and it does not have a matching record in Campus or the Ed-Fi Identity Mapping table, is is deleted from the ODS. When a mapping is changed in Resource Preferences, a resync needs to be done to reflect the changes.

Natural Key Changes, Cascading Updates, Deletes

Action	Business Rule
Post/Delete	Natural Key changes: LEA Reference - District Numbers cannot change after data has been sent. When a district number changes, an Ed-Fi error occurs and the change is not supported. When an Ed-Fi ID changes, a delete/post occurs with the cascading deletes from the Ed-Fi ID change triggers.
Delete	None - no dependent resources.

Scope Year

The record sends to the scope year the school year the program association record is associated.
Data only sends for the years that have valid configuration.

beginDate	The start date for the association of staff to this program. Compares the late Start Date (Course/Section > Section > Section Editor > Late Start) to the Start Date (Course/Section > Staff History > Start Date) and reports the latest Start Date. When only one field has data, reports that date. When BOTH fields are Null, does not report. The beginDate must be a valid date between and including July 1 and June 30 of the current calendar year. programReference	The program type name of CTE approved program. Reports the data that is part of the Natural Key for the Program reference. educationOrganizationId is the Reporting District Code. programName is the Career and Technical Education Program Type (Hard-Coded). programTypeDescriptor is the Career and Technical Education (Hard-Coded). staffReference	A reference to the related Staff resource. Reports the data that is part of the Natural Key for the Staff Reference where the staffUniqueId is the Primary Teacher SSN.	M
