The Early Education Program Registration Extract reports Early Childhood Programs for which the student has registered. See the Early Education Tab article for more information.
Early Education Program Registration Extract Editor
Report Logic
- Census fields report based on the most recent Identity record when the Effective Date is on or before both the extract End Date and the Program Registration Date.
- Enrollment fields report based on the most recent Primary enrollment in the calendar year when the enrollment Start Date is on or before the extract End Date and the Program Registration Date.
- Enrollments, Calendars, and Grade Levels marked as State Exclude will not be included in the extract. Enrollments marked as No Show are also not reported.
- If a student has multiple program registration records, only one record reports if the programs have the same Program Name and Registration Date. In this instance, the Count of Classes field will report based on the number of registration records.
Registration Type Logic
- EE Student Registration records are reported if the student has a Funding Source other than P1 or P2 and a Program Name other than 203 or 204 in the selected calendar year.
- EE Student Registration with a Scholarship records are reported if the student has a Funding Source of P1 or P2 and a Program Name other than 203 or 204 in the selected calendar year.
Generating the Extract
- Select which Registration Type to report.
- Enter a Date Range in mmddyyyy format or clicking the calendar icons and selecting dates. The end date of the date range will auto-populate to the current date.
- Indicate if the results should be Validated. For guidance in validating the XML file against your state's schema using a free, third-party program, see the Validating an XML File Against a Schema File article.
- Select the Format in which the extract should generate. Use CSV or HTML for data review and verification and State Format (XML) for submission to the state.
- Choose a student Ad Hoc Filter to limit report results to applicable students in that filter.
- Unmark Observe State Exclude to ignore State Exclude checkbox on Enrollments.
- Indicate if Demographics fields should Report Student Legal Identities When Provided.
- Selected the calendar(s) that should be included in the extract.
- Click the Generate Extract button to generate the report in the indicated format or Submit to Batch to schedule when the report will generate.
Users have the option of submitting an Early Education Program Registration extract to the batch queue by clicking Submit to Batch instead of Generate Extract. This process will allow larger reports to generate in the background, without disrupting the use of Campus.
