This association represents the Title III Language Instruction for Limited English Proficient and Immigrant Students program(s) that a student participates in or from which the Student receives services. The record will send to any year the El records overlaps with if the student has an enrollment in that year. Data will only send for the years that have valid configuration.

Object Triggering Logic

This table describes logic for triggering syncing of this object.

Post	The student must have a Student School Association record in the configured year and meet the following EL record criteria: The student has a EL Program Status = 'EL'. The student has a EL Program Status = 'Exited EL' and no program exit date exists or the exit date is before the end date of the configured year. The student's enrollment end date is null, or is after the EL identified date. The EL identified date is before June 30th of the configured year (end year) Do not send a record if enrollment is in a calendar marked as Exclude. This table describes the School Exclude, Calendar Exclude, Resource Toggle and Resync logic of this object.

Resource Preferences Continued

The Ed-Fi Configuration tool is used to establish Ed-Fi data resources.

The following describes how to set the resource preferences for the Student Language Instruction Program Association resource. If the Configure or Edit buttons do not display, then the resource does not need to be mapped and the toggle button can be used to turn the resource on or off.

If a mapping is changed, a resync must be performed on the resource in order for the new mappings to send correctly. Any item not mapped will not report to Ed-Fi.

The filter option at the top of the section can be used to filter by Behavior ResolutionType, State Code, and/or Owner. The various filter fields determine which information displays. The Fill options can be used to fill the Ed-Fi Code fields.

Select the appropriate Ed-Fi Code for the EL Service Type Descriptors.
