The New Look of Infinite Campus no longer relies on the Search Framework and MS SQL Change Tracking to keep data in sync for all unified context searches. As a result, MS SQL Change Tracking will be disabled on a number of tables.
Please note that MS SQL Change Tracking is unrelated to the Infinite Campus premium product named Data Change Tracker (DCT).
When is This Happening?
This change is part of the Campus.2251 Release Pack (December 2022). If you skip this release and apply a release pack greater than Campus.2251, the change will occur with that update.
Which Tables Will No Longer Be Tracked?
The following tables will no longer be tracked by MS Change Tracking:
Address | Household | POSIdentification |
CampusDictionary | HouseholdLocation | Room |
Calendar | HouseholdMember | ScheduleStructure |
Contact | HRDemographics | SchedulingGroup |
Course | HREmploymentAssignment | SchedulingGroupAssignment |
CourseCatalog | HREmploymentAssignmentSalary | School |
CourseMaster | HRPositionCode | SchoolYear |
Department | Identity | Section |
District | Lunch | SectionPlacement |
Employment | Period | StudentContact |
EmploymentAssignment | Person | Term |
Enrollment | PersonDistrictIDs | Trial |
FreeReducedApplication | POSAccount | UserGroup |
GradeLevel | POSAccountAccess |
I Want to Continue Tracking Data for These Table, Can They Be Re-Enabled?
MS SQL Change Tracking is not a dependency for any Infinite Campus product or feature. If Change Tracking is needed for custom purposes, then it should be enabled sparingly, due to the use of significant server resources.
