Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the Georgia Department of Health.

General Compliance

  • Vaccine doses administered less than or equal to 4 days before the minimum interval or age are considered valid.
  • Doses administered 5 days before the minimum interval or age are not considered valid and must be repeated as age-appropriate.
  • One month is equal to 28 days for all spacing requirements.

DTaP

Rule

Requirements

0-1 month

No Requirement 

Students one month old or less are not required to receive any doses of the Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP) vaccine.

1 dose ages 2-3 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 2 months old, but no older than 3 months,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance.

2 doses ages 4-5 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 4 months old, but no older than 5 months,
  • the student receives 2 doses of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, 
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses 6-11 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 6 months old, but no older than 11 months,
  • the student receives 3 doses of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, 
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

4 doses ages 12 months - 3 years

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 12 months old, but no older than 47 months,
  • the student receives 4 doses of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, 
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the previous is greater than 4 months with a 4 day tolerance.

4 doses ages 4 years and older

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 48 months old, 
  • the student receives 4 doses of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, 
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the previous is greater than 4 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.

5 doses ages 4 years and older

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 48 months old, 
  • the student receives 4 doses of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, 
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the previous is greater than 4 months with a 4 day tolerance.

6 doses 

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if they have received 6 doses of the Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined (DTaP, DTP) vaccine.

3 doses ages 7-11 years

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 3 doses of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, 
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 84 months with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 143 months with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses 7 years and older

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 3 doses of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, 
  • the student receives at least 1 dose of the Tdap vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 84 months with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses

Students are considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 3 doses of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than 5 months with a 1 day tolerance.

1 dose

In Progress 

Students are considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 1 dose of the Tdap, DT, Td, or DTaP/DTP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

Hepatitis B

Rule

Requirements

Ages 0-1 month

No Requirement 

Students one month old or less are not required to receive any doses of the Hepatitis B (HepB) vaccine.

1 dose ages 2-3 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 2 months old, but no older than 3 months, and
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine.

2 doses ages 4-5 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 4 months old, but no older than 5 months,
  • the student receives 2 doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine, and
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses ages 6 months and older

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 6 months old,
  • the student receives 3 doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine, 
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the 2 previous doses is greater than 4 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous dose is greater than 2 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 168 days with a 4 day tolerance.

2 adult doses ages 11-15 years

Compliant

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 2 doses of the Hepatitis B - 2 dose (HepB-2) vaccine,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 4 months with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 132 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the second dose and the student's birthdate is less than 191 months with a 4 day tolerance.

1 dose

In Progress 

Students are considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the effective date is less than 28 days with a 0 (zero) day tolerance.

2 doses

In Progress 

Students are considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 2 doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than 1 month with a 1 day tolerance.

2 doses

In Progress 

Students are considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 2 doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine, and
  • the student is no older than 6 months old.

2 doses

Students are considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 2 doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine, and
  • the difference between the second to last dose and the effective date is less than 3 months with a 1 day tolerance.

Hib

Rule

Requirements

Grades KG or higher

No Requirement 

Students enrolled in Kindergarten or higher are not required to receive any doses of the Haemophilus influenza (Hib) vaccine.

Ages 0-1 month

No Requirement 

Students age 0-1 month old are not required to receive any doses of the Haemophilus influenza (Hib) vaccine.

1 dose ages 2-3 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 2 months old, but no older than 3 months, and
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hib vaccine.

1 dose age 15 months or older

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hib vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 15 months with a 4 day tolerance.

2 doses ages 4-11 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 4 months old, but no older than 11 months,
  • the student receives 2 doses of the Hib vaccine, and
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses ages 12 months and older

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 12 months old, 
  • the student receives 3 doses of the Hib vaccine, 
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

1 dose

In Progress 

Students are considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hib vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the effective date is less than 1 month with a 1 day tolerance.

MMR

The MMR requirement comprises of 2 doses of Measles, 2 doses of Mumps and 1 dose of Rubella. Vaccines may be administered as MMR or MMRV or individually.

Rule

Ages 0-11 months

No Requirement 

Students age 0-11 month old are not required to receive any doses of the Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccine.

1 dose ages 12 mos-3 yrs

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 12 months old, and no older than 47 months old,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the MMR or MMRV vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.

2 doses MMR

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 2 doses of the MMR or MMRV vaccine, 
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

2 Measles, 2 Mumps, 1 Rubella

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 2 doses of the Measles vaccine, 
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, 
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the student receives 2 doses of the Mumps, 
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, 
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Rubella vaccine, and
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.

1 MMR, 1 Measles, 1 Mumps

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 1 dose of the MMR or MMRV vaccine,
    • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Measles vaccine,
    • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Mumps vaccine,
    • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the student receives 2 doses Measles, MMR, or MMRV vaccine,
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the student receives 2 doses Mumps, MMR, or MMRV vaccine, and
    • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

Varicella

Students age 0-11 month old are not required to receive any doses of the Varicella vaccine.

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 12 months old, and no older than 47 months old,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Varicella or MMRV vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.

2 doses

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 12 months old,
  • the student receives 2 doses of the Varicella or MMRV vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

Hepatitis A

Students age 0-11 month old are not required to receive any doses of the Hepatitis A (Hep A) vaccine.

Born before 1/1/06

Students born before 01/01/06 in state grades U1: Underage First Grade, UK: Underage Kindergarten, KK: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 are not required to receive any doses of the Hepatitis A (Hep A) vaccine.

1 dose ages 12-17 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 12 months old, and no older than 17 months old, and
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hepatitis A (Hep A) vaccine.

2 doses ages 18 months and older

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 18 months old,
  • the student receives 2 doses of the Hepatitis A (Hep A) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance.

1 dose

Students are considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 1 dose of the Hepatitis A (Hep A) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the effective date is less than 5 months with a 1 day tolerance.

Polio

Students age 0-11 month old are not required to receive any doses of the Polio (IPV/OPV) vaccine.

1 dose ages 2-3 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 2 months old, but no older than 3 months, and
  • the student receives 1 dose of the IPV, OPV, or IPV/OPV vaccine.

2 doses ages 4-5 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 4 months old, but no older than 5 months,
  • the student receives 2 doses of the IPV, OPV, or IPV/OPV vaccine, and

  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

4 doses ages 4 yrs and older

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 48 months (4 years) old,
  • the student receives 4 doses of the IPV, OPV, or IPV/OPV vaccine,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the previous is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and 
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months (4 years) with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses grades K-12 IPV, born before 1/1/06

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student was born before 12/31/2005,
  • the student receives 3 doses of the IPV vaccine,
  • the student is in state grade: U1: Underage First Grade, UK: Underage Kindergarten, KK: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses grade K-12 IPV

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 3 doses of the IPV or the IPV/OPV vaccine,
  • the student is in state grade: U1: Underage First Grade, UK: Underage Kindergarten, KK: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months (4 years) with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses grades K-12 OPV, born before 1/1/06

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student was born before 12/31/2005,
  • the student receives 3 doses of the OPV vaccine,
  • the student is in state grade: U1: Underage First Grade, UK: Underage Kindergarten, KK: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

3 doses grade K-12 OPV

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives 3 doses of the OPV or the IPV/OPV vaccine,
  • the student is in state grade: U1: Underage First Grade, UK: Underage Kindergarten, KK: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12,
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the third dose and the previous is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 48 months (4 years) with a 4 day tolerance.

  • the student receives 1 dose of the IPV, OPV, or IPV/OPV vaccine, and

Pneumococcal

Rule

Students age 0-1 month old are not required to receive any doses of the Pneumococcal PCV or PPV vaccine.

Grades K-12

No Requirement 

Students in state grades U1: Underage First Grade, UK: Underage Kindergarten, KK: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 are not required to receive any doses of the Pneumococcal PCV or PPV vaccine.

1 dose ages 2-3 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 2 months old, but no older than 3 months,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Pneumococcal PCV or PPV vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance.

2 doses ages 4-5 months

Compliant 

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 4 months old, but no older than 5 months,
  • the student receives 2 doses of the Pneumococcal PCV or PPV vaccine,

Tdap

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student was born after 01/01/2002,
  • the student is in state grade 07, and
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine.

No dose 7th grade

Non-Compliant 

Active Start Date: 07/01/2014

Students are considered non-compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student was born after 01/01/2002,
  • the student is in state grade 07, and
  • the student has not received any doses of the Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine.

1 dose 1st Entrant

Compliant 

Active Start Date: 07/01/2014

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is a first entrant for grades 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine,
    • This rule is triggered for those students whose first enrollment in the district is the current enrollment record.

No dose 1st Entrant

Non-Compliant 

Active Start Date: 07/01/2014

Students are considered non- compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is a first entrant for grades 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12,
  • the student has not received any doses of the Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine,
    • This rule is triggered for those students whose first enrollment in the district is the current enrollment record.

Meningococcal

Rule

Requirements

PK - 06 grade
No Requirement
Students in state grade(s): PK, UK, U1, KK, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06 are not required to receive any doses of the Meningococcal (MCV4 or MenACWY) vaccine.

1 dose 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, & 12th, grade

Compliant 

Active Start Date: 07/01/2014

Active End Date: 06/30/2022

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student was born after 01/01/2002,
  • the student is in state grade(s): 07, 08, 09, 10, 12, and
