Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the Kentucky Department of Health and Family Services.

General Compliance

  • One month is equal to 28 days.
  • One year is equal to the person's birth date minus 4 days.
  • Six months is equal to 28 days x 6 - 4 (168 - 4 = 164 days).
  • Students born on or after October 1, 1992, are required to receive two doses of the Measles-containing vaccine (the first dose must be MMR).
  • Students born on or after October 1, 1992, are required to receive Hep B vaccine doses. Students born before October 1, 1992, are exempt.
  • Born dates are 12 years of age as of January 1st of the current year for the Hepatitis B validation.
  • MMR, MMRV, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella are all live vaccines.

DTaP

Rule Requirements
0-2 months
No Requirement
Students 2 months old and younger are not required to receive any doses of the DTaP vaccine. 
1 dose 2-4 months
Compliant
Students are compliant when:
  • The student is at least 3 months but no older than 4 months of age.
  • The student receives one dose of the DTaP, DTP, DT, or Td vaccine.
  • The difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4-day tolerance. 
2 doses 5-6 months
Compliant
Students are compliant when:
  • The student is at least 5 months but no older than 6 months of age.
  • The student receives two doses of the DTaP, DTP, DT, or Td vaccine.
  • The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4-day tolerance.
  • The difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance.
3 doses 7-11 months
Compliant
Students are compliant when:
  • The student is at least 7 months but no older than 11 months of age.
  • The student receives three doses of the DTaP, DTP, DT, or Td vaccine. 
  • The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4-day tolerance.
  • The difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance.
  • The difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance. 
4 doses under 5 years
Compliant
Students are compliant when:
  • The student is older than 59 months old.
  • The student receives four doses of the DTaP, DTP, DT, or Td vaccine,.
  • The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4-day tolerance.
  • The difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance. 
  • The difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance.
  • The difference between the fourth and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance.
4 doses 5 and older
Compliant
Students are compliant when:
  • The student receives four doses of the DTaP, DTP, DT, or Td vaccine.

  • The student receives four doses of the DTaP, DTP, DT, or Td vaccine.
  • The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than or equal to 12 months with a 4-day tolerance.
  • The difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance.
  • The difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance.
  • The difference between the fourth and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4-day tolerance.

  • The difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance.

Students are considered compliant when:

  • The student is at least 16 months old but no older than 47 months old.
  • The student receives one dose of the Measles vaccine.
    • The difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4-day tolerance, OR
  • The student receives one dose of the Mumps vaccine.
    • The difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4-day tolerance, OR
