The Career Tech tab stores CTE program information for individual students. The information stored here is reported in the Student Record Collection (SRC).

Career Tech Screen Example

Field Descriptions

Field	Description
Start Date	The first date on which the student participated in the Career Tech program.
End Date	The last date on which the student participated in the Career Tech program.
Career Pathway	Identifies the Career Pathway finished by a student.
Finisher	A code to identify the student's CTE status. 1 Finished CTE Course requirements for completion 2 Finished requirements for Tech Prep 3 Took min 1 state-appv course/has not finished req 4 Has not taken state-appv CTE course since grade 7 5 Finished CTE completer req and CTE dual enr course
CTE Career Cluster	Identifies a state approved CTE course a student has taken.
Special Populations	A student may be coded as a Single Parent, Displaced Homemaker, and/or in a Nontraditional Career Preparation. 004 Non-traditional career preparation 005 Single parent 006 Displaced homemaker 045 Non-traditional & single parent 046 Non-traditional and displaced homemaker 056 Single Parent & Displaced Homemaker
Competency Attainment	This checkbox indicates whether the student attained at least 80 percent of the essential competencies from the state-provided, industry-validated competency list.
Exclude from SRC	This checkbox indicates whether you want to exclude this record from the Student Record Collection. When selected, this record does NOT report.
