Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the Hawaii State Department of Health.

DTaP

RuleRequirements
1 dose 3-4 months
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 3 months and no older than 4 months old,
  • the student receives 1 dose of the DT or DTap/DTP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance.
2 doses 5-6 months
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 5 months and no older than 6 months old, 
  • the student receives 2 doses of the DT or DTap/DTP vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.
3 doses 7-18 months
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 7 months and no older than 18 months old,
  • the student receives 3 doses of the DT or DTap/DTP vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.
4 doses under 4
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is no older than 47 months old,
  • the student receives 4 doses of the DT or DTap/DTP vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the fourth and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.
4 doses over 4
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 48 months old,
  • the student is in state grade: 94: Pre-Kindergarten (Age 2),  93: Pre-Kindergarten (Age 3), 92: Pre-Kindergarten (Age 4), 91: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 31: SpEd-Overage, 32: SpEd-Overage 19, 33: SpEd-Overage 20, 34: SpEd-Overage 21,
  • the student receives 4 doses of the DT or DTap/DTP vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,
  • the difference between the fourth and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the fourth dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.
5 doses
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 48 months old,
  • the student is in state grade: 94: Pre-Kindergarten (Age 2),  93: Pre-Kindergarten (Age 3), 92: Pre-Kindergarten (Age 4), 91: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 31: SpEd-Overage, 32: SpEd-Overage 19, 33: SpEd-Overage 20, 34: SpEd-Overage 21,
  • the student receives 5 doses of the DT or DTap/DTP vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance,

  • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,

3 doses after 7 years

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 84 months old,
  • the student is in state grade: 91: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 31: SpEd-Overage, 32: SpEd-Overage 19, 33: SpEd-Overage 20, 34: SpEd-Overage 21,
  • the student receives 3 doses of the DT or DTap/DTP vaccine,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
    • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
    • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4 day tolerance AND
  • the student receives one dose of the Tdap vaccine,
    • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 84 months with a 4 day tolerance.

  • the student receives 1 dose of the IPV, OPV, or IPV/OPV combined Polio vaccine, and
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance.
2 doses 5-18 months

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is at least 5 months, but no older than 18 months old,

  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.
3 doses after 4
Compliant
Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 48 months old,
  • the student receives 3 doses of the IPV, OPV, or IPV/OPV combined Polio vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance,

  • the student is enrolled on 06/30/2020 or before,
  • the student receives 4 doses of the IPV, OPV, or IPV/OPV combined Polio vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the fourth and previous dose is greater than 28 days with a 4 day tolerance.

  • the student receives three doses of the Hepatitis B or Hepatitis B – 3 Dose vaccine,
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance,

  • the student is at least 2 months, but no older than 3 months old,
  • the student receives one dose of the Haemophilus influenza, type B (Hib) or Hib 3-dose series (Hib-3) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 42 days with a 4 day tolerance.
2 doses Age 4-5 months

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 4 months, but no older than 5 months old,

Hepatitis A

  • the student receives two doses Hepatitis A vaccine,
  • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than 6 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Meningococcal MCV4

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is at least 120 months old,
  • the student is in state grade: 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12,
  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 120 months with a 4 day tolerance.
