Report Logic

All students with an Enrollment on or prior to the Effective date selected on the editor are considered for reporting.


Report Editor

FieldDescription
Submission Code for File Name

The report naming convention based on the submission time frame of the report.

Extract Type

7 PS Att

Effective DateThe date from which data is pulled for the report. 
FormatDetermines the format for the report. Use State Submission when submitting the final data. Use HTML for data review and testing.
Select Calendars

The calendar(s) from which data is pulled for the report. This option is only available when you select HTML for the File Format and can assist you with verifying data for individual calendars.

Generate Report

Submit to Batch

Users have the option of submitting the report request to the batch queue by clicking Submit to Batch instead of Generate Extract. This process allows larger reports to generate in the background without disrupting the use of Campus.

ATTEVENTDATE

The month, day, and year for which attendance or absence is reported.

Student attendance reports for every day the student is in school on a day marked as one of the following on the Days tab (System Administration > Calendar > Calendar > Days > Day Detail).

  • Does not have a Day Code of TB, DB, WB, SH, OH, PT, or CH

  • PRS = Present (Default Value)
  • ABS = Reports if there are any absent codes selected for the student on a given day

  • PTA = Grade = KP and KP is selected for Half Day Kindergarten

ABSCATID

The nature of an absence event; e.g., whether a student absence was excused or unexcused, the absence was a result of a disciplinary exclusion, or that the student was not expected to attend.

  • SUS = Suspended
  • UA = Unexcused.

DSID_VALUE

The proportional value of a day assigned for the instance of a student's reported daily attendance status.

  • 0 = Student Not in School
  • 0.25 = Student was present/absent for 1/4 day/time expected
  • 0.5 = Student was present/absent for 1/2 day/time expected
  • 0.75 = Student was present/absent for 3/4 day/time expected
  • 1 = Student was present/absent for the whole day/time expected.
